The Alabama Department of Insurance now allows insurers to cancel Producer appointments, Service Representative appointments, and Title Agent certificates of authority online.

After viewing and/or printing your company's list, please verify the licensees appointed with your company. The appointment of any licensee no longer needed should be terminated.  When cancelling appointments online, you will be asked to review the appointments that you have selected to cancel.  Once you verify the cancelled appointments and click Yes , they will be officially cancelled.  If the cause for the termination is "Producer Misrepresented Policy", "Company Indebtedness", or "Other Producer Misconduct", you must file within ten days a statement of the facts relative to the termination and the cause thereof, together with any documentation.

If you cancel an appointment by mistake, you will be required to pay a $30.00 appointment fee to have that licensee reappointed.

Cancellations will NOT be reflected on this website until the following day.
