Premium Finance companies applying for a license must submit the following:
- Application
- $35,000 surety bond written by an insurance company licensed in Alabama
- Premium Finance Agreement
- Delinquent Notice
- Cancellation Notice
- Rate Chart
- $264.00 license fee
- Remittance – Click here to electronically remit application, fees, and any other applicable documents. Checks
or money orders are no longer encouraged.
Premium Finance companies must renew their licenses each October 1. The following
must be submitted:

- Remittance – Click here to electronically remit application, fees, and any other applicable documents. Checks
or money orders are no longer encouraged.
- Proposed changes to rates or forms which have not already been submitted for approval
may be submitted with the renewal application
