A public hearing on the proposed revision of rates and rules for homeowners insurance as filed and requested by Fire Insurance Exchange and Mid-Century Insurance Company, will be held at 1:30 p.m. CST on Thursday, February 22, 2007, in the offices of the Alabama Department of Insurance, RSA Tower, 201 Monroe Street, Montgomery, Alabama.

Any persons so desiring may submit a written statement in favor of or against the proposed change in rates and may, in addition, make an oral statement at the hearing.

Failure of a company representative to be present at this hearing may result in a denial of the companies’ request for a rate and/or rule change.
