A public hearing on the proposed revision of rates and rules for homeowners and rental owners insurance as filed and requested by American National Property and Casualty Company and American National General Insurance Company, will be held at 10:00 a.m. CST on Tuesday, February 27, 2007, in the offices of the Alabama Department of Insurance, RSA Tower, 201 Monroe Street, Montgomery, Alabama.

Any persons so desiring may submit a written statement in favor of or against the proposed change in rates and may, in addition, make an oral statement at the hearing.

Failure of a company representative to be present at this hearing may result in a denial of the companies’ request for a rate and/or rule change.
