An 18 year old Jones volunteer firefighter was arrested Thursday and charged with one count of Arson Second Degree. Thomas Daniel Sims of 4201 County Rd 22, Plantersville, AL was charged with burning a building on Autauga County Rd 60 on June 10.
The Autauga County Sheriff's Office and the Alabama State Fire Marshal's Office are continuing the investigation with additional arrests of non-fire department personnel expected. Additional charges are also anticipated.
