Morgan Brown, age 32, died Wednesday morning during a fire at 39340 Lymon Lane near Bay Minette.
Firefighters from the Crossroads Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene around 12:13 AM and found the structure totally involved in fire. Firefighters were unable to rescue the victim and the structure was a total loss.
An autopsy performed by the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences determined Mr. Brown died during the fire. At the present time, the Alabama State Fire Marshals Office is working to determine the cause for the fire. No smoke detectors or alarms were present in the structure when the fire occurred.
