Investigators with the Marengo County Sheriff’s Office and the Alabama State Fire Marshals Office traced the cause of the Sunday night fire that took three lives in Magnolia to an extension cord under a rug.
The extension cord was located in the living room of the mobile home and was supplying electrical service to the kitchen refrigerator.
