A Thursday evening fire at the Boaz Shopping Center brought eight area fire departments to fight the blaze, which destroyed one business and damaged five others. Three Boaz firefighters were treated for smoke inhalation and dehydration following the fire.
A photography shop, in which the fire originated, was destroyed in the fire.
The fire remains under investigation.
