A malfuctioning electrical circuit to an air conditioning window unit caused an early Friday morning fire at a Troy school.
One classroom was damaged at Pike Liberal Arts School in Troy. The 6:15 a.m. fire was fought and contained by the Troy Fire Department.
The Alabama State Fire Marshals Office and the Troy Fire Department investigated the fire jointly and came to the conclusion that the malfunctioning circuit was the cause.
